Dr. Ruvo completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Metropolitan Hospital/Westchester County Medical Center in New York, and served as Chief Resident. He has over thirty years of clinical and administrative experience in Emergency Medicine and is President and CEO of MedExcel USA, Inc.. He has reorganized MedExcel into a progressive group, ready to meet the challenges of the ever-changing medical environment. Dr. Ruvo serves on NY ACEP’s Practice Management Committee, is Medical Director of the Orange County Regional Paramedic/EMS Corp., serves on the Hudson Valley Regional EMS Medical Advisory Board, the American College of Physician Executives, the American Medical Association and the Medical Society of the State of NY.
